What Are Balance Quadrants in Strum Platform?

Balance Quadrants determine the strengths of your Loans and Deposits with the following equations:

  • The Average Loan Amount by calculating the Total Loan Balances divided by the Total Number of Members with Loans
  • The Average Deposit Amount by calculating the Total Deposit Balances divided by the Total Number of Members with Deposits

Based on those averages, Strum Platform then places your data into 1 of 4 Quadrants:

  • 1 - Overall Strong (High Loan/High Deposit)
    • Member’s Total Loans is Greater than or Equal to [The Calculated Average Loan Amount] and Member's Total Deposits is Greater than or Equal to [The Calculated Average Deposit Amount]
  • 2 - Strong Deposit (Low Loan/High Deposit)
    • Member’s Total Loans is Less than [The Calculated Average Loan Amount] and Member's Total Deposits is Greater than or Equal to [The Calculated Average Deposit Amount]
  • 3 - Strong Loan (High Loan/Low Deposit)
    • Member’s Total Loans is Greater than or Equal to [The Calculated Average Loan Amount] and Member's Total Deposits is Less than [The Calculated Average Deposit Amount]
  • 4 - Overall Weak (Low Loan/Low Deposit)
    • Member’s Total Loans is Less than [The Calculated Average Loan Amount] and Member's Total Deposits is Less than [The Calculated Average Deposit Amount]
