2.7 Release Notes
October 2023
Here are the newest enhancements and system capabilities now available in Strum Platform’s 2.7 Release.
Channel Usage Chapter
Users can now access deeper transactional data within the newly released Channel Usage Chapter and its ‘Channel Usage’ Dashboard. This unique chapter highlights aggregate transactional data, providing users the ability to view transaction counts or volume by transaction type or rolled up to its transaction type Channel (BackOffice, ATM, Branch, Digital, Payments). The visuals bring data forward for users to quickly glean a greater understanding of where and how membership – or specific member subsets – are utilizing the institution. These dynamic datasets provide breakdowns and distributions by member type, age tier, Generation and Lifestyle, as well as specific transaction types. All data is derived from the raw extracts delivered and based upon the client-provided aggregation period (MTD/YTD) for each monthly or weekly data set.
The ‘Channel Usage’ dashboard also highlights member penetration among key digital services– such as Online Banking, e-Statements and Bill Pay – for regular reporting, trending, and analytics. These visuals can also be utilized for dynamic selection within the dashboard for quick filtering and insights.
Account Level Lists & Exports
Strum Platform’s List Manager now provides users with the ability to View and/or Export lists at an account level, in addition to the previous, default member level. This feature provides greater capabilities for clients with the need to extract records specific to the loan and/or deposit accounts along with the records’ related account fields(i.e. Maturity date, Origination Date, Current Balance…), to better support data views, analytics and merging outside of the system when necessary.Dashboard and List Manager filters can still be applied to support the return of specifically targeted records - either at a member or account level. Any list View or List Export can toggle between member and account level, dependent upon the fields selected for inclusion in that View or Export. Once an account level field is included, the list transitions from the default member level to account level. Conversely, account level lists can be quickly converted to a member level by excluding any, and all, account level fields.
Like with member level exports, users have the option to decrypt any encrypted account level fields (i.e. Account ID) that are selected for Export, based on the user’s permissions.
Updated Marketing ‘Campaign List’
An improved version of the ‘Campaign List’ can be accessed by selecting the main tab of the new Marketing Chapter, located within the system’s hamburger menu. This version of the ‘Campaign List’ provides greater detail within the view’s grid, including not only a summary of the sales and ROI, but also total expenses and conversion rate for a high-level view of campaign’s direct and overall performance at a glance.
Customizable Tracking Options within Campaign Settings
Campaign settings, within each campaign listed in the updated ‘Campaign List’ (located within the new Marketing Chapter), have been launched with more robust and customized tracking options for Sales and Marketing teams. Users can now select relative tracking periods (i.e. # of days, weeks, months, years) for evergreen campaigns to allow for more specific and accurate tracking per targeted individual, in addition to the standard fixed period option for tracking specific results between static dates. This additional feature ensures ongoing campaigns and fixed period campaigns can be tracked uniquely based on its campaign run type.
Updated ‘Campaign ROI Report’
An enhanced version of the Strum Platform’s ‘Campaign ROI Report’ has been released and can be found in the new Marketing Chapter via the ‘Campaign List’ by selecting any of the campaigns. This latest iteration expounds upon the legacy report’s campaign interaction and sales metrics by providing greater detail and drill-down abilities across Direct Sales and Related Sales products and the Sales profile. This version highlights four key reporting areas – KPI’s, Campaign Interaction, Sales Summary and Sales Profile. All section’s Power BI-driven visuals allow for dynamic selection capabilities, providing the user the ability to analyze various targeted segments.
In addition, the ROI report’s newly added filter allows users to select various subsets of the campaign target – particularly beneficial when analyzing an evergreen campaign. Users can filter targeted members by date of campaign entry or length of time in the campaign for more specific reporting. Marketing teams will now be able to provide segmented results reporting across evergreen campaigns such as Onboarding, Maturing CD, Reboarding and similar automated, ongoing campaigns.
